1. Because the silicon carbide crucible is a ceramic product, there are pores in the data, and the crucible wall simply absorbs water. For flame furnace or electric furnace, the crucible needs to be preheated to ensure that no water remains on the crucible wall.
2、 In this use, the silicon carbide crucible is preheated to 150-200 ℃ without feeding, and the temperature is kept for 1 hour. Because the crucible wall will oxidize rapidly within the temperature range of 315-650 ℃, the crucible cannot be preheated within this temperature range and does not need to be maintained for a long time.
3. After this preheating, the silicon carbide crucible generally does not need to be preheated unless the crucible is exposed to humid environment again.
4、 After the silicon carbide crucible is preheated, the operator shall quickly raise the temperature to 850-950 degrees without feeding, keep the temperature for half an hour, and then reduce it to the normal operating temperature before feeding. The results show that the longer the residence time of crucible data between 315-650, the simpler the oxidation. Oxidation will shorten the service life of the crucible and affect the service life with reduced thermal conductivity.
5. Heating the crucible above the normal working temperature will prolong the service life of the crucible. Generally, heating the crucible to 815-930 degrees helps to protect the glaze of the crucible. If possible, it can be hot once a week.
